Second: Happy Mother's Day to you, my fellow moms. And that includes those of you who do not have babies to hold in your arms this Mother's Day. Miscarriage or adoptions that fell through do not mean you are not a mother. You are a mother. Your babies and your love for them is real, even if you don't get to hold them this side of Heaven.
Third: yes, we finally have internet again. What a saga that turned out to be. Ridiculous. Kind of like the whole house selling experience. I've told Philip we have to choose our house carefully because I would really like never to move again. Ever.

If you guessed Kroger's, you guessed correctly. Cut me some slack: he came 8 days early in the midst of a move. To say I wasn't quite ready is a bit of an understatement. And there are some things that husbands don't like to buy at the store. (Enough said?) So we went to Kroger's and picked up some essentials (including bananas, yogurt, and ice cream. You know, essentials.) And we chose our Kroger's carefully. This was not my usual store, and, sleep deprived though we were and haggard though we may have looked (we did), no one gave us a second glance at this particular Kroger's.

Astonishing what you can come up with even with a newborn and no internet! Congratulations again on the new baby and thanks for linking.
So I'm guessing Mike Leake would like us all to ignore that "write the FCC (or congressman, or senator, or whomever) NOW because Madalyn Murray O'Hair's atheist group wants to ban religious radio!" paper that has become legend for its "cry wolf" status. Amazing that even the death of old O'Hair didn't stop the thing from making the appointed rounds. :)
