Words on Wednesday - Truth vs. Falsehood

I'm not actually reading Milton right now, but I am reading a book that quoted this. I love this passage. Why are we so afraid of confronting wide and varied ideas? Could it be because we're afraid truth is not actually powerful?

Words on Wednesday - Better By Morning

I know not everything gets better by morning but I have to admit that one of my favorite verses is Psalm 30:5

For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.

So, do you agree or disagree with this quote? I'd love to hear what you think.

Words on Wednesday - Families Who Love to Read

We're reading through the Little House books again - the younger girls don't remember them so it was time to start over. Philip and Isabel are still working through The Simarillion. And then there are the picture books...

Does your family love to read? What are you reading now?
