Jamie asks: What was the most emotional read you have ever had?
Our miscarriage in February meant that I spent much of March reading books to try to cope with that loss. Several of those books were helpful, at least one was not.
But the most moving book that I read during that time was:
A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows through Loss by Jerry Sittser. One tragic car accident took the lives of the author's mother, wife, and daughter.I don't think any novel could compare to the absolute heartbreak and hope of this memoir / inspirational book.

Memoirs are great at evoking emotions...the truth of the story often does.
