My main indulgence (in my fabric obsession) is this headboard:
Then my mother-in-law (did I tell you she's really talented?) made panels for window valances. So our room has three matching valances.
I'd willingly cover our couch in toile pattern but Prince Charming isn't sure about that. For now, I've settled on carrying Sweet Pea's little diaper bag (it's purse size): pink and black toile. I can't tell you how much Prince Charming loves carrying that bag. I can't tell you, because it wouldn't be true.
But I love it. And I'd take a picture to show you except I can't find it. I suspect we left it at church Sunday night. Sweet Pea doesn't really even need a bag any more, so we lose track of it sometimes. I just can't leave it at home, though. It's too cute to be left at home.
If you love toile, you'll want to check out the Toile Party going on at Pretty Organized Palace. After checking out some of the other posts, I may have to make some toile pillows or something - I don't think you can ever have enough of this pattern.

Ahem. I found Sweet Pea's bag. Just haven't dropped by with it yet. (Yes, you did leave it at church.)
You guys did a great job on the headboard! Don't you love that feeling of accomplishment?
I am loving all the toile!! It's fun to see how everyone is using it in their decor. Fabulous job on the headboard. And happy to hear that Sweet Pea's bag has been found. I'd hate to think of you losing some toile.
I love that headboard too! I'll have to get creative and think of a good headboard for us when we move because we're buying new mattresses and rails for ourselves.
That headboard looks fab! And congrats to you both for doing int yourselves. Perhaps they'll be more diy projects in the future :) And hey, if your PC doesn't want a toile couch suggest that toil wallpaper is a better idea. Suddenly a toile couch won't seem like such a bad idea to him! LOL My dinning room is wallpapered in toile :)
What an eye catching headboard. I don't even have one! I guess I need to get hoppin and make one. Thanks for linking up to my Toile Soiree!
Blessings,
Pretty Organizer
Your headboard is super awesome! What a great job.
You're making me want some toile in my life, and I've always been neutral on it before!
YAY you guys on the headboard!
Great job on the headboard! I tried to make one out of plywood, but it ended up looking odd. Found a metal one at a yard sale and it looks much better.
P.S. I like toile too.
Very good job on the beautiful headboard! We rented a house on Kilby Road when we were still at Addyston in the 80's that had some toile wallpaper! Except, at that time, I didn't know what it was!
