Today as I was helping Tigger get dressed we had the following conversation:
Me: "Do you want to wear this blue shirt?"
Tigger inspects the shirt.
Me: "Well?"
Tigger: "Yes, if you turn down the neck turtle."
Polly used to describe these shirts in the same way. Only she wouldn't wear them no matter how much I turned down the "neck turtle". And no, I don't correct them. I like talking about "neck turtles".
